Brian AJ Newman, LLB is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BAJN Co. and oversees the associated entities and business interests that make us what we are.
Brian has extensive experience as a professional Advocate and Investigator and is revered as an exciting Entrepreneur with vision and creativity, but above all else, Brian is devoted to our core value of 'udere difficile sed aequun' (play hard but fair).
Brian's story
Heritage
Born on Kamileroi land in Moree New South Wales Australia, Brian is a proud descendent of Anaiwan (Nganyaywana), Ngarigo (Bemeringal 'mountain men' of the East Coastal Region) and Wiradjuri Aboriginal people.
Brian's ancestry also includes direct connections to England, Northwestern Europe, France, Scotland, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Wales.
Education and credentials
Brian's early years were spent in Sydney where he attended Chullora Primary School and later South Strathfield High School until he returned to Kamileroi country and finished High School at Courallie High School in Moree.
Brian attended Griffith University and obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree to compliment his numerous other credentials, which include a Diploma of Work Health and Safety, Diploma of Justice Administration, Diploma of Security and Risk Management, Diploma of Human Resource Management, Diploma of Government (Investigations), Diploma of Property (Agency Management), Certificate IV Training and Assessment and numerous other credentials in the area of Adult Corrective Services.
Brian is a qualified Trainer and Assessor and he has been a member of the United Nations (International Labour Organisation) since 2001.
Brian commenced a Master of International Law Degree in 2022 at Griffith University and has previously studied for a Bachelor of Security Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism.
Brian is a Queensland Justice of the Peace (Qualified).

Brian maintains numerous professional affiliations and memberships, all of which help keep Brian at the top of his game as one of Australia's most influential professional Advocates.
Employment and calling
Brian became a professional Advocate and Investigator in 2001 after leaving a long career in the Queensland Prison Service, that followed work in the security and hospitality sectors which followed an apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering that he thoroughly enjoyed but outgrew very fast in the 1980s.
Brian has maintained a strong connection to the Queensland Real Estate industry since 1987 and has previously maintained a full agency license to support his family's standing presence in the Queensland Real Estate industry, where their activities have ranged from building and construction to land development and residential sales and leasing.
Brian's true calling is undoubtedly Law and Investigation, with an insatiable entrepreneurial disposition, he is committed to pushing the limits in everything he tackles and inspires others to push their boundaries to discover new limits in their growth and development.
Interests and travel
Brian's interests are Australian indigenous history, European and Australian History, military history, art, culture, classical music, men's advocacy, animal rights, media, podcasting, video logging, photography, fishing, four-wheel driving, camping and travel throughout Australia and Europe.
Brian has worked in Vanuatu assisting workers and has travelled throughout Germany, Switzerland, France, and Italy.
Brian's family
Brian is a proud father of four (4) girls and a French Bulldog named Elle and he is a loving and devoted partner to his soulmate and best friend Jodie.

'In my lifetime I have had the privilege to meet some of the most influential people in modern society, including my indigenous elders, influential and genuine politicians at all levels of government, sporting and media personalities, industry leaders and masters of industry and invention, but above all else that I hold dear, I am forever grateful and will eternally cherish the friendships I have been blessed with that were forged from honesty, loyalty and integrity with the genuine spirit of a childlike kindness and an honourable sense of fair play, strong advocacy and compassion for those less fortunate or capable than me or mine.'
